Michael’s
Michael’s is a craft supply store that often offers great printable coupons online. I will always post when a particularly good coupon is released so feel free to subscribe through the sidebar of this blog so you don’t miss out on a great deal!
Tips:
Coupon usage and Coupon policy:
You can usually combine two different coupons within your purchase. For instance, if you have a 40% off one item coupon and a 20% off entire purchase coupon, you can use them both but keep in mind, the one item which the 40% off is subtracted from (which is always the highest priced item, given you hand this coupon to them FIRST) will not ALSO receive another 20% off the already reduced price, BUT your other items will all receive the 20% off. Some Michael’s stores are also very particular about their coupon policies so check with your Michael’s store first. Typically, they only allow one of the same coupon to be used per person per DAY.
On a side note, always remember to check your receipts for the valuable coupons printed out with it, usually for 40% off the price of your next full price item with your next purchase. Just be sure to check the coupons dates because usually they are not good until the following week. Always keep your receipts as Michael’s has a pretty relaxed return policy, in most cases allowing you 60 days to be able to return an item! Refund details can be found on your receipt.
Michael’s app:
Have an iPhone or Ipod Touch? Be sure to check the app store for the Michael’s app. In it is a store locator, products they carry, deals, events, and an amazing projects list for you to check out and get inspired by. I have gotten a lot of great ideas myself from this app. Another great feature to their app is the coupons feature. It has all of the coupons you would be able to print online, and you just have to show them the coupon on your device at checkout, saving you ink and its been a lifesaver for me at times when I have forgotten to print out that weeks coupon!
Events:
Another great thing about Michael’s is they have a calendar of events. These are specific times you can head to your nearest Michael’s to participate in a free craft! They teach you how to make it and you get to keep it afterward. Its especially great that they host loads of events that children can participate in as well. Check the “events” link here to see the current events calendars or you can always check the Michael’s app as well.
