Rite Aid is a great store for scoring the occasional freebie and offers a lot of programs for saving money. I will explain them below.

Programs Explained:

Video Values
Video Values is a program where you can watch short ads to earn a coupon for great savings. In coupon match up scenarios you will frequently see “VV” coupon, which refers to a Rite Aid Video Values coupon you can find in your Video Values account. Watch, print redeem. I will try and post reminders to watch your Video Values before they will be expiring.

Wellness Rewards
You should sign up for a Wellness Rewards account. You just register your card and then you will be able to log in and load ecoupons to your Wellness plus card through their Load2Card program. You can also keep track of the points you accrue here. Every dollar you spend earns you a point.  They have a tiered membership program which goes as follows:

Single Check Rebates

Don’t throw away those receipts!  The top of them contain information in which you can enter here and receive a rebate check in the mail monthly for anything you purchased that was listed! You can pick up the rebate book at the store near the weekly ad in most cases or view it here as well: Single Check Rebates Directory.

Tip:

Sign up for a Savingstar account. These are ecoupons that you can load to certain grocery/drug store club cards, Rite Aid being one of them.

Tip:
Another reason not to throw away your Ride Aid receipts … They may have “UP” rewards printed out at the bottom of them which is basically Rite Aid currency. These print out when you have  purchased a specific advertised product and can be used on your next purchase but make sure you spend them before the expiration date as they do expire and they all have different life spans.
